Simple Anti-Anxiety Remedies

Anxiety affects all of us to some extent.

Sometimes, it sucks.

But in reality, we need it. It keeps us safe.

It is a normal stress reaction and it can initiate our flight or fight response and keep us alert to our surroundings.

The problem, however, is when it debilitates our lives and affects our functionality.

Since COVID-19, I believe that most of us can attest to the fact that anxiety has increased in this world.

I have noticed it more personally and professionally.

Personally, I am not interested in managing my anxiety with meds, so apart from lifestyle changes and Yah seeking, I indulge in herbal remedies to help me find balance.

  • General Stress and Anxiety → Lemon Balm

  • Stress-Induced Digestive Problems → Lemon Balm & Spearmint

The links above are for the dried herbs. To find tinctures and supplements, click here.

I would usually prepare these as a hot herbal infusion taking 1-3 tbsp of the dried herb and steeping it for 10-20 minutes before enjoying it. I like this 1-2x daily depending on the herb. I also enjoy using the tincture forms (linked) because it's convenient.

Sometimes, I also prefer more of a combo supplement without having to make separate teas or buy different tinctures. Right now, I am loving the Best Rest and Mood Tonic options shown below!

Takeaway

We all have stress, but the goal is to have it less and make it more manageable when it comes. You can do that by taking control and staying prepared.
